Come for a day out on usually the first or second Saturday of May each year.
Races, Trading stalls, Beer Tent, Amusements, etc. Races start at 2.00pm.
Come early, bring your picnic.
Access to the races is at Oxenford on the B3001 half-way between Milford Junction
on the A3 and Elstead, NOT via Peper Harow which is on the wrong side of the river.

The Fishing rights are defined by the land boundary which is shown on
property title deeds as down the middle of the river.
Peper Harow Fly Fishing Club
Has put Trout into the river at its expense, and therefore to fish for
them it would be appropiate to join the club that financed them,
generally, wild Brown Trout must be released, and Rainbow Trout landed
must be kept.

Hot Air balloons often float over and sometimes land in the park.
At a wedding reception being held in the park in May 1998,
A Hot Air balloon carring another newly wedded couple,
who had left their own wedding reception by balloon,
landed in the park, 100 yards away.
How's that for a coincidence.
